Well since I'm on a Copic kick here is another cute one. This one was a good one to practice different hair texture. Instead of coloring in circles or strokes I used little dots of color to create the texture. I started out with the lightest color first doing the whole head. Sometimes I do color the lightest color in small circles because it takes less time. I decide where my light source is coming from before I get started so I will know where to place my darkest colors. I never really stick with one color all the time I go back and forth to build the texture. The darkest color is usually around the hairline and back of the neck. He is so cute he reminds me of my nephew .

Penny Black stamp Father's Day
I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted to my blog. I have been stamping but I has not been as much as I wanted to. I have been practicing a lot with my Copic markers and learning how to blend the colors. I have found an artist that has digital and regular stamps and she does them in different ethnic groups which I love to work with. It give you a chance to work on all types of skin colors with one stamp. I noticed that I have started to see her designs over at one of my favorite stamp companies Penny Black.
Since Father's Day is around the corner I will start to post some of the designs that I have worked on that I think are so cute. This will give me a chance to use up a lot of the Stampin Up designer paper that I have been hoarding not wanting to cut because it was too pretty. This paper is from a designer pack that was retired a long time ago called thoroughly modern.

I also used soft suede and crumb cake card stock by stampin up. I have a few more that I want to finish up and post. I am going to remember to write down the copic colors that I used so I can post those also so check back and let me know what you think. Have a great day!
