I can't believe that it's been so long since a added a post to my blog. I have really been busy changing my stamps around and moving them from the wall to my new Alex drawer that I got at Ikea. I have done quite a few cards since my last post so I have plenty to show you.Can you believe it is already August! School has started back so the time is going to fly by especially in the afternoon. The next thing you know it will be getting dark early which I dread because the nights seem to be so long.
I have still found some time to surf and look at some of the other blogs to see what kind of inspiration I could get.
Checking Sunday Stamps blog I wanted to see what the challenge was going to be and submit a card. Halloween is coming up so I decided to use the cute stamps that I found at Michaels in the dollar bin.The background stamp is by Hero Arts. The embossing powder is by Zig and the punch I used is by EKSucess. I added the squiggly eyes to give it some movement. All the card stock was from Stampin Up. I think this one came out pretty good considering that I don't do many Halloween cards only for my grand kids to take to school. Anyway, I hope you like the card and I will post some more cards that I have made tomorrow.

Christmas in August #2
This is another quick and easy card with the Christmas theme. The stamp set is by inkadikado and is one of the sets that I have not used. The paper was torn to give the appearance of hills. Dazzling diamonds from Stampin Up adds a little sparkle for detail. The snowflake embossing folder is one that I purchased last year from Cuttlebug. The design was also contains Night of Navy by stampin up. If you would like to know the exact names of the products used just leave me a comment. Thanks for taking a peek today and I will try to post again tomorrow.

Christmas in August
Today I am posting a Christmas card that I made. It is just around the corner and will be here before we know it. Besides that you can never have too many. I got this stamp set from my demo Esther Boyle because it was retiring and I've had my eyes on it every since it came out. I think it is called serene snowflakes but I am sure. Well wouldn't you know it the have another set of snowflakes in the new catalogue that are even more gorgeous! Oh well add it to the wish list.
I also got to play around with the Tim Holtz Distressed inks and I am starting to get use to sponging with a light touch. I found some more sets of Christmas stamps that are just waiting for me to open them so don't be surprised if you see more Christmas cards this week. Thanks for stopping by please leave me a comment.

Card stock: Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla(Stampin Up)
